UNAIR NEWS – Indonesian Veterinarian Association (PBPDHI) Executive Board together with Universitas Airlangga Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( RSHP UNAIR ) collaborated with PT. Nutricell, the third largest local premix feed company in Indonesia. In 4th floor RSHP Meeting Room, Director of RSHP UNAIR Dr. Ira Sari Yudaniayanti, drh., MP said the importance of this collaboration as the first step for PT. Nutricell to support the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH UNAIR) and RSHP programs.
Regarding this cooperation, Dr. Ira revealed that PT. Nutricell will regularly supply RSHP feed stock every month. Regarding the amount of feed, there will be a further agreement. In the ceremonial event attended by 50 participants, PT. Nutricell donated 50 boxes of feed products for dogs and cats, one box containing 24 cans of Kucingku feed products from marine fish, Vitacell and Vet Special dog food.
“Sometimes veterinary hospitals have difficulty getting feed. Through this collaboration, Nutricell’s feed products are expected to be standard feed at RSHP, except for animals that need special feed, “said Dr. Ira on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Not only used for patient food, continued Dr. Ira, the grant feed will be used for practicum animals’ maintenance (especially cats and dogs), and to make feed standards for hospitalized animal patients.
“Hopefully this collaboration expands and reaches the field of feed research, because feed research is the focus of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH),” said Dr. Ira.
Vice Director for Education and Medical Services Dr. Nusdianto Triatkoso, drh, M.P said that the strategic location of RSHP became the basis for the collaborative referral of PBPDHI. Nutricell feed made from organic ingredients (raw food); salmon, abalone, tuna and chicken salmon, abalone, tuna and chicken was the second reason. For the sake of food quality assurance, RSHP and PBPDHI tomorrow will visit PT. Nutricell.
