The event was held virtually through Zoom, on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, 2020. Twenty-six participants from Indonesian Kindergarten Teacher Association (IGTKI), Sumbersari Sub-district, Jember attended the event.

Rhajiv Nur Ilham as Head of the committee said that the problem of bullying must be handled as early as possible. He continued, the right approach was needed.

“Bullying among students is now increasingly prevalent. If it is not addressed, it will cause various other problems in the future, both physical and psychological problems. This training is an effort to prevent and handle bullying cases that occur among students, “he explained.

The activity, said Rhajiv, was targeted kindergarten teachers. According to him, kindergarten teachers are an important element in supporting the process of student growth and development, including in solving bullying problems.

“As guardians of students in schools, kindergarten teachers are required to have knowledge and skills in the process of solving problems that occur among their students,” said Rhajiv.

Rhajiv said that there were two presentation delivered in two days, Understanding  Bullying as a Prevention Effort by Yustisiana Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Bullying Victims and Perpetrators Rehabilitation based on Anti-Bullying Program Steps to Respect by Zakiyah Ulya, M.Psi., Psychologist.
