RSUA Doctors with SEC Surabaya Create Mars Against Corona

UNAIR NEWS – The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has brought up ideas to provide enthusiasm and support for health workers. Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) doctors have collaborated to provide support to health workers by creating a march song about their fight against Corona.

The collaboration was carried out by several senior doctors at Universitas Airlangga Hospital (RSUA) with the Surabaya Entertainer Club (SEC). The march song versus Corona was titled “Fighters Against Corona”.

“I am touched to hear the story of the struggle of health workers at RSUA. For that we collaborated to create this march, an offering to encourage health workers, “said Indah Kurnia, Chairman of the SEC.

“Fighters Against Corona” march song was composed by the Director of RSUA Prof. Dr. Nasronuddin, dr., Sp.PD., KPTI-FINASIM with Professor of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Jusak Nugraha dr., MS., Sp.PK (K). The song was sung by several senior doctors RSUA along with SEC singers.

Indah Kurnia revealed that the process of recording and working on the song lasted no more than one week. Since she received the manuscript from Prof. Nasron, she and her team rushed to finish the song so it could be heard by the general public.

In the recording of the “Fighters Against Corona” march song, the doctors were deliberately wearing hero-themed clothes and accessories. Indah Kurnia revealed that it was in line with the struggles of doctors in Surabaya, which is the City of Heroes.

“We created this song from a sincere heart and mind to improve morale. Our offering, from the SEC, to encourage all health workers in RSUA, “said Indah Kurnia who is a member of Commission XI DPR RI.
