Today, 2020 SNMPTN is officially announced

UNAIR NEWS – The 2020 State University National Entrance Selection (SNMPTN) results are officially announced today Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 13.00 WIB. All participants who register for 2020 SNMPTN can see the announcement on the official page of State University Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) as well as the page of each state university.

Regarding the detailed information about the results of 2020 SNMPTN, the Head of LTMPT Executive Team Prof. Moh. Nasih said that the number of participants who passed the selection at 86 State Universities (PTN) throughout Indonesia was 96,496 students. The number, he continued, was the result of selection from 489,601 students.

“Of the total number that have admitted to state universities, 25,398 students are from participants of Indonesia Smart Card College (KIP-College), from a total number of 95,346 KIP registrants,” he said.

Meanwhile, continued Prof. Nasih, the total capacity of 2020 SNMPTN pathway is 101,772. The percentage of admitted registrants compared to the capacity is 94.82%. The percentage of the number of participants who passed the SNMPTN selection was 19.74% for regular participants and 26.32% for KIP-College participants.

“Students who are declared to have been admitted through 2020 SNMPTN are obliged to be present at the time of re-registration, time and place in accordance with each state university. For this reason, participants can view the state universities pages which they chose and where they are admitted, “he said.

The participants’ attendance, continued Prof. Nasih, is to verify process and the admission status of 2020 SNMPTN participants as students at each state university. 2020 SNMPTN participants who have passed the verification will be declared as prospective students of the state universities.

“For admitted participants of SNMPTN 2020 who are KIP-College participants, beside verification of academic data, they should also verify the family economic data with a direct visit to the residence address to determine the admission status of SNMPTN 2020 participants as the new students of state university they chose, “explained Prof. Nasih.

In the end, Prof. Nasih also said that 2020 SNMPTN participants must understand the re-registration requirements and other admission requirements which can be seen on the website / page of each state university. Students who did not pass the SNMPTN 2020, still have the opportunity to register for Computer-Based Examination (UTBK) and register for the 2020 State University Joint Entrance Test (SBMPTN).

“SNMPTN participants who have passed SNMPTN 2020 are not allowed to register for UTBK and SBMPTN 2020. While KIP-College applicants who do not pass SNMPTN 2020, if they want to join UTBK, there is no registration fee,” he concluded.
