UNAIR collaborates with Surabaya Land Office to register land assets

UNAIR NEWS – In the context of developing education, research, and community service in land sector, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) officially established partnerships with the Surabaya City Land Office II. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

Being held in Rector Room of UNAIR Campus C Management Building, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., UNAIR Rector signed an MoU together with Lampri, A.Ptnh., SH, MH Head of Surabaya City Land Office II. The signing session was witnessed by the leaderships of UNAIR and representatives of Surabaya City Land Office II.

The purpose of this MoU is to be guidelines to carry out collaboration in the framework of developing human resources through Tri Dharma of Higher Education in land sector. Furthermore, the MoU was also related to an agreement to register 41 land assets carried out by UNAIR at Surabaya City Land Office.

Lampri said, the signing of the MoU with UNAIR is like a marriage bond. “With the signing of this MoU, it means that the marriage has officially become official,” said Lampri.

“We have been working with UNAIR for a long time, and there are no ties. So this MoU means that there is an official bond, “he added.

Through the meeting, Head of the Land Office hoped that in the future the programs will run well. And, the registration of UNAIR’s land assets will also be completed soon.

“We, from the land office, hope that all the programs will run well as expected from our mutual agreement, and Insha Allah later this month all related to registration of UNAIR land assets will be completed,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Prof. Nasih also hoped that with the MoU, UNAIR and the Surabaya City Land Office will be able to work well together.
