Pakistan offers further collaboration with UNAIR in the academic field

UNAIR NEWS – Totok Priananto, as Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia for Karachi, Pakistan, explores collaboration with Rector of Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr Mohammad Nasih. The activity was held on Thursday, December 5 at 4 Floor Rectorate Building Campus C and they discussed further collaboration with universities in Karachi.

Totok stated with Pakistan’s improving economic condition, Pakistan interested in advancing the country by expanding collaboration in various fields, especially academics. Furthermore, he said that Pakistan was very superior in the field of human resources (HR).

The universities in Karachi are interested in expanding collaboration with UNAIR, especially in the health sector. In line with Pakistan’s efforts to reduce the number of sufferers of hereditary diseases such as thalassemia and microcephalus and to increase joint research between these two parties.

“We expect further collaboration such as an agent professor, joint research and student mobility. Therefore, we invite UNAIR Rector to visit Karachi and consider the offer, “said him.

Prof. Nasih responded warmly to the offer regarding further collaboration with Pakistan. The collaboration between UNAIR and Pakistan is the establishment of Pakistan Corner on Campus B UNAIR and visitation offer to several universities in Pakistan.

“Indeed, UNAIR is in the process of massive internationalization. We never stop to carry out inbound outbound staff, joint research, student mobility. God willing, the results can be beneficial for both parties, “he said.
