Strengthen the Relation, B-PHA PSDKU Holds Q-time

UNAIR NEWS – Banyuwangi Public Health Association (B-PHA) is Student Association of Public Health, Off Main Campus Study Program (PSDKU) of Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi. B-PHA held Q-Time (Quality Time) activities which took place at Sobo Campus and Cacalan Beach on Saturday, April 27.

Q-time was one of B-PHA work programs, which held by SAS Division (Sport Art Society). The event aimed for FKM academics community took place for 2 session, morning session on Sobo campus and night session at Cacalan Banyuwangi Beach.

“I’m really happy because this year concept is different and the most exciting part is each group performance, which can make us sing along together.”said Rista Novianti, one of the participants in the event.

Hermasdito Syahsyah Rahman Syarif (FKM 2018) as chief executive of Q-time activities conveyed the purpose of the event. According to him, the purpose was a form to strengthen the relation between academics.

“This event is a tool to strengthen the relation between FKM academics, especially among students.” he said.

The activity of “Together is Better and we are Family” was a little different from previous years because last year was located on campus and held during Ramadan month with the concept of sharing Takjil iftar and praying together with orphans.

“There are 2 sessions of activities this year. Starting from the morning with the concept of activities that emphasize health issues. Furthermore, the event will be held in Cacalan beach.” he explained.

Starting at 7:00 a.m., filled with fun workout and walk, traditional competition including sarong racing, water relay. The event continued in Cacalan beach at 7:00 p.m., filled with performances from participant, bbq gril and giving prizes to the winner.”

The night activity atmosphere was very lively and accompanied with the sound of ocean waves. “Hopefully, the next Q-time activities will be more exciting and lively” he concluded. (*)
