UNAIR NEWS – Student Activity Unit (UKM) Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) Universitas Airlangga held 17th Anniversary Celebration on Monday April 22 at Student Center, Campus C UNAIR. In addition, UKM PSHT UNAIR also held inauguration of new person in charge for the new Management.
The activity was opened by Jejer dance attraction, which was greeted warmly by the participants. This event was one of major events in PSHT UKM UNAIR every year.
“We consider the event to be one of the sacred event and taking the oath witnessed by representative of PSHT Surabaya, UKM, Commissariat (UKM PSHT from other universities in Surabaya), Prof. Dr. Muslich Anshori SE., M.Sc., Ak., C and Dr. Yayan Sakti Suryandaru S.Sos., M.Sc., Head of Department of Communication (Kadep) in UNAIR” explained Erika Nur Azizah as Head of PSHT FH UNAIR event.
In addition, there were also representatives of PSHT Surabaya, Soedarmadji as PSHT council, Karjo as international jury and UKM PSHT UNAIR coach, Ainun Najib as Head of 2018 UKM PSHT UNAIR and Nailatul Muizah as Head of 2019 UKM PSHT UNAIR.
Erika, as Head of UKM PSHT UNAIR explained the event went according to the plan and the participants came very enthusiastically. There was Solospel, a special male double art performance from UKM PSHT UNAIR. As well as the appreciation for the best male and female fighters. In addition, there was cutting tumpeng rice procession as the highlight of inauguration.
“Hopefully, UKM PSHT UNAIR can contribute medals for the realization of 500 World Class Universities and strengthen the relation between internal academics to mantain and join national and international scale event in the future.” explained Erika
She revealed the event was a branding for Airlangga Cup VI. One of prestigious National competition every two years organized by UKM PSHT UNAIR.
“We hope PSHT UNAIR will be better” said Prof. Dr. Muslich Ansori as coach of UKM PSHT UNAIR.
“In the future we will improve the system to be better, more effective and build a strong fighters with norms, ethics, and good character.” added Nailatul Muizah as Head of 2019 UKM PSHT UNAIR. (*)
