UNAIR NEWS – As an organization that accommodates students to produce ideas for scientific works’, Garuda Sakti PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi always hones the potential possessed by administrators and members. For this reason, Human Resources Development Division (PSDM) of Garuda Sakti PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi held an upgrading program.
The upgrading activity carried out last week had different concept of activities. According to Alvina as Chairman of Garuda Sakti PSDKU UNAIR Banyuwangi 2019, this year’s upgrading is held in an orphanage. The orphanage was Syamsul Huda Orphanage, Banyuwangi Regency.
Regarding administrator upgrading, he said that it was an activity to improve organizational quality and knowledge as well as to increase empathy for others.
“This activity is useful to rebuild the spirit of organization so fellow Garuda Sakti administrators of PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi can be more intimate, solid by motivating each other, and strengthening friendship,” she explained.
In addition, she continued, the activity was also useful to review progress on the performance that current management had done and to deal with the shortcomings in the future so that it could be better. It is very influential in the management performance in the future.
The theme of this activity was “ADHIMUKTI AKSATA” which originated from the Sanskrit language meaning a spirit that would not be broken. The activity was carried out with the concept of sharing knowledge and playing together with the orphans. They were given education on health, education, ideals, with games. There were also games that improved teamwork. At the end of the event, charity was given to the administrators of the orphanage. (*)
