UNAIR NEWS – Achmad Yuskir, 2017 Universitas Airlangga Faculty of Nursing (FKp) Student, won 2nd place in 2019 Ners Cup Badminton event on Saturday, March 16, 2019. The competition was part of FKp Anniversary attended by various students from Indonesian nursing institutions.
” Alhamdulillah, I feel happy and proud because I can make achievement for Faculty of Nursing,” Yuskir said.
Yuskir was proud of being paired with Eko Teguh who was one of the best athletes in his team. He added, in the competition Yuskir played against Nursing Students from Gajah Mada University (UGM), Muhammadiyah University Surabaya (UMS), Muhammadiyah University Jember (UMJ), and STIKES Ngudia Husada Madura.
Yuskir, enjoyed playing badminton when he sat in kindergarten. It was driven by parents who were also keen on playing badminton. In Elementary School (SD) he began to pursue and practice seriously and participate in various badminton competitions at regency level.
Yuskir hoped that with this achievement, the members of FKp badminton team and FKp UNAIR Activity Unit would be more enthusiastic in practicing.
