UNAIR NEWS – Last week was 64th Anniversary of Universitas Airlangga celebration. Now, it is Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) turn to celebrate their 41st anniversary. The anniversary was held in the Soetandyo Hall, 3rd Floor, Building C FISIP Campus B UNAIR on Friday, 16 November.
In the Peak of FISIP UNAIR’s 41st Anniversary: The awarding session of Soetandyo Award themed “Millennial Challenges, Pursuing Innovation and Necessity of Action” with Dr. Emil Elestianto Dardak, M.Sc as speaker. He was elected as Vice Governor of East Java.
“As for 41st FISIP Anniversary, it is a reminder to always remember Soetandyo and his struggle creating new generation to work and grow together. That is, by developing his thoughts and struggles on mutualism democracy, “said Dean of FISIP, Dr. Falih Suedi, Drs. M, Si.,.
Dr. Falih revealed that FISIP was among three largest faculties in UNAIR. FISIP was able to pass Faculty of Medicine (FK) in Student Outbound. Indeed, it is proof of hardwork and positive achievement.
“Congratulations for the 41st Anniversary which is one of the proofs in millennium era, we usually measure it in an unscientific way. Like interacting with community and continue to be the best, “he said.
Dr, Falih added, of course, with this achievement, FISIP always wants to be better, we must continue this struggle on digital era.
Every day, digital industry continues to experience discruption or interference. For example, negative or positive impacts. This indirectly influences education realm, especially FISIP. However, this can be used as an opportunity to strengthen the ideals of FISIP, especially UNAIR as part of one of the best state universities in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Emil Dardak, who was there gave material explanation, mentioned Dr. Soekarwo when expressing “If everything changed into digital and became e-commerce. Whose items are sold? Will we only sell people stuff? ”
Everyone must remember that thought. To all students, Emil also advised to read Bung Hatta’s book, Value of Penjajahan.
