UNAIR NEWS – Learning and working from the heart are probably the right words to describe Rizqi Nabila Ramadhani’s glorious journey and achievements. At the age of just 15 years and 8 months, Nabila was accepted at Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) from SNMPTN pathway in 2021.

The student from Ponorogo only took 10 years to complete her elementary to high school studies. Nabila has been in the acceleration program since attending MTSN 2 Ponorogo as well as the fast study group (KBC) program at her alma mater at SMAN 1 Ponorogo. So, she only needs two years each to complete her middle and high school studies.

Contacted by phone, Nabila said that she succeeded after a great struggle. On a daily basis, after school, Nabila has to take lessons in two tutoring institutions and private lessons at home.
Some students may find the routine very strenuous. But this is not the case with Nabila.

“When I entered the accelerated program, I was required to learn fast. Must have eagerness to learn on their own. It looked like it was tough, but I was interested in fighting for it. I want to be successful at a young age,” explained the student ranked number 1 at SMAN 1 Ponorogo.

Furthermore, Nabila’s enthusiasm for learning was also encouraged by her hobby to read. Since elementary school in Grade 6, Nabila has always spent her time reading textbooks and motivation books. Her hobby was inherited from her father who also likes reading motivational books.

However, one of the figures who also played a big role in Nabila’s achievement at SNMPTN was her mother who is a teacher. “Mama always accompanies me studying, when I am tired, hears my complaints, all of them are Mama. Likewise, my father, who works in Surabaya, comes home once a week, but actively asks about the progress of my studies, “added the student keen on Napoleon Hill and Merry Riana’s works.
