UNAIR NEWS – Even though Covid-19 pandemic has yet to end, Universitas Airlangga still inaugurated new students of Doctoral, Masters, Specialist and Professional programs for odd semester 2020/2021 Academic Year. Most of the students were inaugurated online, but there were several new student representatives inaugurated at Garuda Mukti Campus C Hall on Friday, September 4.

On that occasion, Prof. Nasih opened his remarks by congratulating and inviting all participants to be grateful. Primarily, to be grateful for being well and healthy in a pandemic situation and health is one of the top priorities.

“Apart from that, we must also be grateful for the blessing to start a new journey and become academics who are ready to start studying at UNAIR. Once again, congratulations,” said Prof. Nasih.

Prof. Nasih also emphasized that choosing UNAIR to be a place to study was the right thing. Therefore, students must be prepared to finish it with all the consequences. It means that the entire academic community must be prepared to follow all the processes determined by UNAIR.

“Because studying at the master’s and doctoral level is no longer an easy process, only to have fun. The educational process here is not just learning but interactions in many ways and they must be followed as well as possible, “said Prof. Nasih.

All the determined processes, continued Prof. Nasih, are made so the entire community in the future can achieve an outstanding goal. One of them is becoming a master and doctoral student who always sticks to Excellence with Morality.

“Keep in mind, the process to go through is also expected to produce graduates which are HEBAT: Humble-Honestly; Excellent; Brave; Agile; and Transcendent, “he explained.

Besides emphasizing the value of Excellence with Morality and HEBAT, Prof. Nasih also mentioned the condition of Covid-19 in Indonesia, which still shows no signs of ending soon. According to him, it is possible that due to pandemic condition, learning at UNAIR will continue online for the next semester.

“Therefore, in carrying out future studies, the process of interaction and communication are some of the keys to our success. Let’s manage our intentions and ourselves to follow the education process well and hold the values of Excellence with Morality and HEBAT, “he concluded.
