The first day of March 2020 graduation, Rector Universitas Airlangga inaugurates 1,287 graduates

UNAIR NEWS – With Lir Ilir as the background song, Rector of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., with officials entered Airlangga Convention Center (ACC).

The graduation inauguration is conducted for two days. I.e., on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

On the first day, UNAIR inaugurates as many as 1,287 graduates from Diploma program (D3-D4), Undergraduate Program (S1), and Doctoral Program (S3).

Several officials of Universitas Airlangga alumni attended the event, including National Defense Institute, Brigjen TNI Kasirun Situ Klorang; Chief of BNP, Brigjen Pol. Setiya Junianto; Head of East Java Provincial Government Library Office, Dr. Ir. Abdul Hamid, M.P; Head of BNP Surabaya, Lampri; and former Head of East Java provincial government education office, Syaiful Rachman. Besides that, there was Secretary of Mojokerto, Hj. Harlisyati, S.H., M.SI. and Vice-Rector I ITS 2006, Prof. Noor Endah.

On that occasion, Muram Yando S1 Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) gave a speech representing all graduates. The student from Papua who received the affirmation scholarship ADIK PAPUA was proud and grateful to study at Universitas Airlangga. “Thank God, I’m thankful to finish my study here. “he said.

“We should unite and work together for our nation. Congratulation, everyone!” he continued.

In his remarks, Prof. Nasih emphasized the graduates to continue their studies. “Keep learning because the world keeps changing,” he said.

Prof. Nasih also explained that Airlangga is ranked as the third-best higher education institution in Indonesia. Therefore, Airlangga graduates are expected to make a real contribution to the nation. “We have to face our national problems and solve it together, “said Rector.

As the future generation, graduates should maintain the good name of UNAIR and always remember the great tagline. He also revealed that the knowledge gained during college would be beneficial in society.

“You learn so many things in class, and it will be useful later. Good luck! ” he concluded.

Rector also mentioned good news from Universitas Airlangga alumni. Ayu Maulida, a graduate of Faculty of Law (FH) of Airlangga who has just crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2020. (*)
