UNAIR NEWS – PPKK or Center for Career and Entrepreneurship Development has a role in fostering students in entrepreneurship. One of PPKK’s main programs is PMW. PMW or Entrepreneurial Student Program is one of the programs from PPKK Universitas Airlangga which aims to create new entrepreneurs among Universitas Airlangga students.
In 2019, PPKK funded one of Banyuwangi UNAIR students business products, KotakKadoku_Gresik. Interviewed by UNAIR NEWS team, Dewi Masluqiah as the owner of KotakKadoku_Gresik mentioned that the product is a custom-made gift box.
“KotakKadoku_Gresik is online shop business that produces a variety of gift boxes, which can be customized based on size, cover, design,” explained her.
Dewi or familiarly called Adel admitted that she was inspired to develop this type of product because she saw the large potential on gift box business.
“I see a large and broad market opportunity, this business idea is still rare in here,” she said.
The difference between the KotakKadoku_Gresik gift box from other products lies in the total order. Consumers can order this product without a minimum purchase so they can order custom gift boxes with a minimum amount of 1 box.
Besides, she expressed her gratitude for PPKK UNAIR for trusting her to manage the business. Thus, she wants to increase the amount of production in 2020.
“Hopefully, PPKK can be more selective in choosing student business networking. I want to increase my product production with the renewal of equipment, “she concluded.
