UNAIR NEWS – In accordance with the regulation of UNAIR Directorate of Academic Affairs, prospective students who will re-register through SBMPTN pathway are required to carry out disability and health tests. The test is adjusted with the general and specific requirements of the program chosen by each prospective student.

The medical test can be done at Universitas Airlangga Hospital (RSUA) or at another state medical facilities. To serve the prospective students, RSUA provides medical tests from July 10 to July 17, 2019.

Regarding its preparation, RSUA Head of Marketing, Dr. Niken Sasadhara Sasmita said that approximately 80 percent of the total prospective students will take medical tests at RSUA. To provide the service, there are 6 doctors tasked to check the health of the prospective students. They consist of general practitioners and ophthalmologists.

“There are no special requirements that must be brought. Prospective students immediately come to RSUA, conduct medical tests, the result is retrieved at once and the papers can be used directly as the reregistration requirement, “explained Dr. Niken.

Niken also said that RSUA provided a team of doctors in accordance with the requested tests.

“For now, the required tests are disability and physical test. Because the physical examination is important to explore the history of prospective students which will be related to the their studies, ” she stated.
