UNAIR NEWS – The Joint Committee of Conference Asia Academy of Management – AAOM 2019 is officially opened. Being held at Patra Hotel Bali, this prestigious event was attended by management scientists from around the world and opened by Vice Rector II Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Muhammad Madyan, SE, M.Si., M.Fin., on Thursday, June 20.
In the event organized by Asia Academy of Management – Universitas Airlangga – Pertamina Indonesia University, Madyan said that the university really appreciated and fully supported the success of the event held for the first time in Indonesia. For Madyan, the event that brought together hundreds of management scientists from around the world was a strategic step for UNAIR to gain global recognition.
“This is certainly an important part that cannot be separated from UNAIR’s effort to become a university known to the world,” he said.
Furthermore, Madyan also said that UNAIR scientists’ involvement was one step to show Indonesia’s role in supporting research in the field of management on a global level. For this reason, he continued, on behalf of the UNAIR Rector, Madyan emphasized that he fully supported the presence of Indonesia Academy of Management (IAOM).
“As one of the initiators of IAOM, we strongly support the efforts to improve the quality of our management’s scientific research so that it is known better to the world,” he said.
In the end, Dr. Madyan hoped that IAOM would continue to perform. He also said that it could not be separated from the role of academics to support and participate actively in IAOM.
“I would like to say congratulations on the launching of IAOM.Good luck,” he concluded.
