UNAIR NEWS – The celebration of 64th Anniversary of Universitas Airlangga continued. Now, after the peak of Anniversary which took place on Saturday, November 10, 2018, the excitement continued with Fun Sunday event.
Located in Campus C UNAIR on Sunday, 11 November. Fun Sunday activity was filled with various activities, from Airlangga Run 5K and 10K, Morning and Healthy Aerobic Exercise, UNAIR Aerobic Competition, Grilled Fish Competition, Vocal Group Contest, Community and Health Service Corner, and bazaars.
Various activities were attended by thousands of people. Both from the UNAIR academic community consisting of leaders, lecturers, students, to educational staff and the general public from around the campus.
Airlangga Run was the first activity held that day, hundreds of participants for Airlangga Run 5K and 10K were sent directly by UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih. In the activity held along Jalan Ir. Soekarno, Prof. Nasih advised the participants to give their best effort in celebrating UNAIR 64th Anniversary.
“Like marathon, the struggle must be accomplished. It’s not easy and needs a lot of time, “said Prof. Nasih.
After Airlangga Run activity was begun, Fun Sunday activities shifted to Faculty of Public Health. In FKM UNAIR, the event was Morning Exercise activity which are continued with Fun Walk activity. There was an Exercise Competition activity which was also held in the same location.
Furthermore, after Fun Walk activity, participants were directed to take the meal provided around Faculty of Science and Technology. After breakfast, participants were entertained with various performances while waiting for lottery announcement at UNAIR Publishing and Printing Center hall.
What a great event, isn’t it? Happy 64th Anniversary for UNAIR.
