It’s best to buy a bookcase or shelf. If there is no budget, borrow a neighbor’s or friend’s unused shelf. Because without a proper place, they may be scattered or damaged.

Make sure to put the shelves in well-lit place because insects like to make nests in places with less lighting. Place the shelf in an accessible place so it is easy to clean and also make sure the rack has a good air circulation so that the fungus does not multiply.

Cover the books with thick plastic which is not sticky. It is better to use transparent plastic so the book cover is still visible. Do not cover the books too tight to anticipate the books being opened.

Use bookshelf dividers and bookmarks. Bookshelf dividers make the books remain firm and does not fall easily. While the bookmarks are important as page markers of books that have been read.

If there are friends borrowing books, try your best to make a record. It is also necessary to make arrangements so that the book is returned intact. Clean the bookshelf regularly.
