UNAIR Faculty of Law cooperates with Prosecutor’s Education and Training Board Republic of Indonesia in education and research field

UNAIR NEWS – Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga cooperated with Prosecutor’s Education and Training Board Republic of Indonesia (Badiklat). The Dean of Faculty of Law, Iman Prihandono, SH MH LL M PhD, and The Head of Prosecutor’s Education and Training Board (Kabadiklat) Republic of Indonesia Tony Tribagus Spontana SH M Hum., signed the agreement. On Thursday, March 17, 2022, the signing session was held at the Balairua Room, 4th Floor, Management Office MERR (C) Campus UNAIR.

Also attending were the Rector and Vice-Rector of Universitas Airlangga, Chief Prosecutor (Kejati) of East Java, National Technical Training Center (Pusdiklat), District Attorney (Kejari) of Surabaya, and the Dean of Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga and boards.

Previously, Universitas Airlangga has cooperated with the District Attorney of the Republic of Indonesia in various programs. This cooperation is meant to emphasize focus in education and research fields. Universitas Airlangga’s Rector, Prof Dr Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak, hoped that by this cooperation, UNAIR could contribute to producing graduates of prosecutors and law enforcement who are professional and have integrity.

“We are sure that these prosecutors and government officials are a party with responsibility and an important role in establishing a community that fits Indonesian ideology, especially on the second principle, Just and Civilized Humanity,” he revealed.

Furthermore, Kabadiklat Prosecutors Republic of Indonesia, Tony mentioned that in the future he wants to continue collaboration for Magister of Law, International Law Department and Medical Law, Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga, by providing prosecutors that have special interests.

“Collaborations such as this will be an important factor for advanced achievement,” said Tony.

The MoU signing session went conducive by following strict health protocols.
