UNAIR NEWS – Airlangga Education Expo 2022 was at its second day on Saturday, February 19, 2022. This time, one of the faculties that presented an info session was the Faculty of Dental Medicine (FKG) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).
During the info session carried out online, FKG UNAIR invited participants to know further about various excellent programs and the faculty’s international program. In the opening session, the team leader of AEE FKG, Dr. Anis Irmawati, drg., M.Kes. welcomed 250 online participants.
“Here, we provide any information to all of you about anything related to FKG UNAIR,” she revealed.
Furthermore, the main session was presented by Muhammad Dimas Aditya Ari, drg., M.Kes. SP.Pros. who invited the participants to understand about the student’s journey when they join FKG UNAIR. Dimas mentioned that FKG UNAIR offers three main programs, academic, activity and achievement, and international program.
“Academic programs for undergraduate students are divided into two, first, undergraduate level learning for seven semesters and professional learning for four semesters,” explained the Prosthodontics lecturer.
Furthermore, extracurricular programs were also introduced in this session, from Dentistry Charity, Scientific College Committee, Dentine, Design Room, Saman Squad, Stovit Dentari, Football, to Basketball.
One of the flagship programs that attracted the info session participant’s attention was the international program. FKG UNAIR has three international programs. The first program is short term stay for ten days, six months, and International Dental Course that offers learning collaboration for eight semesters.

“In these programs, you have the opportunity to participate in international classes from prestigious universities such as Hiroshima University, Tohoku University, Chulalongkorn University, University of Malaya, and others,” revealed drg Dimas.
After the session, FKG UNAIR also opened an interactive discussion forum for the participant who wants to ask further about the intricacies of FKG UNAIR. Therefore, the Dean of FKG, Dr. Agung Sosiawan, drg., M.Kes., M.H, Vice Dean of FKG Prof. Dr. Ira Widjiastuti, drg., M.Kes., Sp. KG(K) and the lecturer board of FKG also took part in answering the student’s questions.
At that moment, participants were very enthusiastic to know more about international programs, courses at FKG, to the scholarship programs offered. The event is even more interesting because it provided certificates and vouchers for the most active participants. (*)
