UNAIR NEWS – Coincided with a special date, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) alumna, Alma Putri Dhiafira launched her second book titled Kisahku Menjadi Wisudawan Berprestasi. The book launch was carried out online through Zoom Meeting.
Dhea was graduated as an Outstanding Graduate on her graduation on September 2021. She wrote the twist and turns of her college life in a book that inspires young people.
“Through this book, I can reflect on university and be grateful for every party that have trusted and supported Dhea. I hope that through my passion in literary field could be useful for many people,” she revealed.
Disclosing her book, Dhea revealed that her work could help students maximize their potential during their time in university. Moreover, the students can also contribute to society.
This is not the first time Dhea has written a book. Her love of literature made Dhea feel easy writing books from her various life experience. Previously, she wrote a book titled Kisahku sebagai Exchange Student to capture her experience participating in Rotary Youth Exchange for a year in the United States in high school.
“Every phase have unique and sad periods. What helps me a lot, in my opinion is doing many activities and self-developing and having a solid support system,” Dhea stated.
Dhea admitted that the Outstanding Graduate achievement gave her an opportunity and ease in making artworks. However, there are up and downs in every journey. Dhea rarely feels anxious thinking about her works that she thought were not good enough. There were anxieties whether people will love her works.
“Of course, it’s delightful to create works and help young people. It can also become a form of my legacy from the important moments in my life,” she said.
Dhea planned to keep writing on literacy, education, and young people’s development in the future. In her opinion, nothing could be achieved instantly, but we cannot be afraid to do good things that never have been done before.
“Don’t be afraid to do good things that not many people have done because it can be your uniqueness,” she revealed. (*)
