Preparing excellent human resources, AHY takes doctoral program at UNAIR

UNAIR NEWS- Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono has just been inaugurated as a new student for the Doctoral Program in Human Resource Development at Universitas Airlangga Postgraduate School. He was one of the 1381 new students for the Doctoral, Master’s, Specialist, and Professional Programs in the odd semester 2021/2022 Academic Year inaugurated online and offline at the Garuda Mukti Hall, C Campus on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Major Inf. Ret. H. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, M.Sc., M.P.A., M.A, known well as AHY expressed his gratitude and happiness to be a part of Universitas Airlangga. He revealed that his reason for studying at UNAIR is to learn, gain knowledge and improve his insight that focuses on understanding the characteristics and needs in developing human resources in Indonesia.

As one of the heads of a political party in Indonesia, according to him, he has an interest in preparing excellent human resources with integrity. So with the PSDM (Human Resource Development) study program, he can learn and contribute to benefit the community and his beloved alma mater Universitas Airlangga.

“I will carry out my duties and responsibilities in the party, and I am committed and will give my dedication to Universitas Airlangga so that I can graduate on time,” said AHY.

Meanwhile, Prof. Nasih also congratulated all new students accepted at UNAIR. He emphasized all postgraduate programs focusing on developing science and applying it for the benefit of mankind.

According to him, the love of science will encourage students to grow and develop the knowledge they have acquired continuously. Not only mastering the knowledge but also will make it useful for the benefit of mankind. The love for knowledge must exceed the love for material possessions. It is in accordance with one of the strategies of UNAIR, meaningful research and community development, which is based on the first strategy, sustainable education for all.

“Look for research points that are useful and can be used for the benefit of mankind. Theses and dissertation must be encouraged to produce monumental works, finding that bring benefit to mankind, both locally, nationally, and globally,” concluded Prof. Nasih.
