UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga has just restructured leadership ranks under Prof. Mohammad Nasih, UNAIR Rector for the period 2020-2025. UNAIR Rector inaugurated the secretary of university, deans of faculties, Director of Postgraduate School, heads of university boards, and the Director of UNAIR Hospital on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
The inauguration was held at the Garuda Mukti Hall, Campus C Management Office. Here is the full list of officials inaugurated today:

After inaugurating the officials, UNAIR Rector gave his highest appreciation to officials who had contributed to UNAIR’s development during the 2015-2020 period.
Rector also congratulated the new officials. “The previous deans have delivered and provided a strong foothold. So it is the duty of new officials to immediately take off to a higher and more noble position, to take UNAIR to an honorable position, “said UNAIR Rector.
“This task is not easy. But InsyaAllah with sincere intentions, we will be able to carry out a tough task as well as possible, “he added.
Prof. Nasih emphasized that officials who had just been appointed to make various kinds of innovations and adjustments, especially amid Covid-19 pandemic.
In the inauguration, UNAIR Rector gave a keris to all the officials who were inaugurated. He interpreted that through the keris, officials have the authority and duty to be able to solve various problems in their respective fields.
“Please interpret this keris as tool of authority to complete tasks in your place,” he said.
One of the officials inaugurated with a new position, Prof. Soetojo, said that the Health Facilities Coordinating Board would oversee several health facilities at UNAIR, such as UNAIR Hospital, Infectious Disease Hospital, Dental and Oral Hospital, and Veterinary Hospital.
The Dean of FK UNAIR for the 2015-2020 period revealed that in the future these various hospitals can function properly, not only serving patients but also conducting research. “Because research will improve and make better services,” said Prof. Soetojo.
Not only that, all faculties in UNAIR, continued Prof. Soetojo, can take advantage of health facilities at UNAIR as a means of learning. “All faculties can use the hospital, not only the health faculties. So that in the end it will be useful for all faculties, “explained Prof. Soetojo.
