UNAIR NEWS – UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., held a press conference on Friday, August 14, in Amerta Room, 4th Floor, Campus C Management Office UNAIR. It was a follow-up SBMPTN announcement (Joint Selection Entrance to State Higher Education) on Tuesday, August 11 through http://sbmptn.unair.ac.id
Prof. Nasih conveyed that UNAIR has admitted 2117 students from 2020 SBMPTN. The percentage of students to be selected through SBMPTN is 40% of the total freshmen in UNAIR. Besides that, 302 of them received the Indonesia Smart College-Card (KIP) or Bidikmisi.
“Congratulation goes to all of the students who are accepted in UNAIR,” he said.
Meanwhile, the highest score for UTBK at UNAIR was 633.87 for Faculty of Medicine.
Prof. Nasih explained 5 study programs from science and social studies with the highest score of SBMPTN UNAIR 2020. For Science: Medicine, Dental Medicine, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science Technology. Social: International Relations, Management, Accounting, Communication Studies, and Law Studies.
“Overall, we are pleased because all of the candidates choose the new study program in UNAIR,” he said.
Moreover, UNAIR SBMPTN also has five new students with the youngest age. Most of them are still 16 years old. There are Daffa Hafizh Permadi in information system program, Rahmat Fiqih Gunawan in management, Laksmi Firdausi in anthropology, Marshanda Sugma Febrylian in nursing program, and Fayza Diva Thirza in math program.
“Congratulation, and don’t forget to register yourself. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, re-registration and payments are online, “he explained.
On the same occasion, he also explained that international class, independent admission, partnership independent admission, and vocational studies are open for those who want to study in UNAIR.
“We give several opportunities for those who have not passed 2020 SBMPTN through other channels,” he concluded.
