UNAIR NEWS – Career and Entrepreneurship Development Center Universitas Airlangga (PPKHA UNAIR) with Airlangga Career Club held a virtual webinar of “Knowing Yourself and Knowing Capabilities” with Rr Ayu Maulida Putri or known as the winner of Putri Indonesia 2020. The event was attended by more than 400 students from various universities.
Ayuma as alumna of Faculty of Law Universitas Arlangga explained about her journey as a model since she was 14 years old, her commitment is the main key in achieving goals. According to her, if you are committed to doing something, then you should reach the targets that you want.
She mentioned that to get the best version of ourself, we have to plan high targets. In that way, you can work harder and don’t underestimate yourself.
“Maximizing what you have. If you doubt yourself from the start, it will affect the results. If we work for it, the target won’t be far from it. You cannot underestimate from the beginning of your target. We can reach our target as long you work for it, “she said through Zoom application.
Furthermore, the winner of Face of Asia 2019 also mentioned insecurity issue which can be a major factor in exploring our abilities. She explained that everyone should not be insecure and try to ignore people’s judgement.
“The key is to be smart to ignore those negative situation. Nobody is perfect so you should embrace your flaws and maximize your ability, “she explained.
“It’s ok not be perfect. If people still talk about your flaws, focus on yourself and maximize your abilities, “she concluded. (*)
