UNAIR NEWS – The ongoing era of technological disruption has made it easier to disseminate information. The ease in disseminating information can be used as a form of business promotion that can be built in digital era.
Responding to that, Airlangga Entrepreneur Club (AEC) held a seminar entitled “Create Your Own Website for Your Own Business” on Monday, April 29 at Parlinah Hall of Campus B Library, UNAIR. There were A. Nourman Arif P.P. as IT Consultant and 50 UNAIR students and staff.
In addition, it is appropriate that this moment can be utilized properly and positively. Namely by using it as a form of business promotion or marketing. The existence of social media and websites can be easily utilized as product promotion.
Nourman as the speaker explained Google has provided a platform that can be used for business websites, namely blogger. The requirements are easy, business people can already create a website through blogger just by having gmail account.
Besides having free web facilities, there are also paid website features as one of the choices for people to use it. Like, using your own domain and hosting that can be purchased at a service provider or provider.
Nourman also provides tips on how to make interesting content. The thing that must be considered in making content is the originality of the content itself, in another sense do not make plagiarism.
“Creating interesting content can be linked to viral things because this will attract the interest of readers and website traffic will increase, thus it will be quickly indexed by search engines. ”
The seminar also revealed material about creating a website with blogger. Participants were invited to practice directly. Moreover, the participants who attended the event successfully made a website with blogger.
In addition, the participants were also given tips to arrange the templates on the website to be more expressive. On that occasion Nourman also thoroughly explored the operation of the blogger website properly. The enthusiasm of the participants must always be maintained in building their business website. (*)
