UNAIR NEWS – Garuda Sakti (GS) Off Main Campus Study Program (PSDKU) Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi has just completed its first program in a series of creative classes called Viewspro. The program itself stands for Video Editing, Writing and Public Speaking Program managed by GS Achievement Division with other administrators.
The Viewspro work program was carried out consecutively for two days on April 27 filled with Writing Class. Moreover, on April 28 filled with Video Editing and Speaking Class. Based on administrative data, there were 80 PSDKU UNAIR students in Banyuwangi who have registered for Viewspro class program.
Met by UNAIR NEWS after the event, Thearza Tavinia as Head Executive explained that presenters from Viewspro’s creative class were not only lecturers but also Surabaya UNAIR students who had mastered in writing and video editing. The speakers were Fida Aifiya Chusna, UNAIR Faculty of Law (FH) student who had published seven best seller novels and Ken Ayu Yalu P., Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) UNAIR student, Information Media Staff (Medinfo) GS 2019 as well as Video Editor and Designer.
“The purpose of Viewspro itself is to increase student interest and talent, one of which is self-development in the field of writing and graphic video and upgrading self-quality in public speaking, during presentations or debate activities.” she explained further.
This student of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) hoped the output of Viewspro participants does not stop only during class but it can be implemented in thesis, Student Creativity Program (PKM) preparation even in the non-scientific field. Viewspro also accommodates students who want to sharpen their writing spirit through National Essay Contest.
“An advice from the speaker, writing is not just pouring out what is on the mind but reflecting on ourselves to get the best results.” she concluded.
