UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga’s Faculty of Nursing (FKp) Women’s Futsal Team won 3rd place in 2019 FIK UI Cup competition, on Sunday, April 21, 2019. The national level competition was held by Department of Sports, BEM FIK, University of Indonesia (UI). The Women’s Futsal Team were Shintia Ekawati, Ambrosia Desy, Nurhikmah Inge, Icca Cahya Ningrum, Siti Lusiyanti, Nadia Nur Mar’atush, Nurul Khosnul, and Siti Nur Kholidah.
FKp UNAIR’s Women’s Futsal Team often participate in competitions to make good reputation of the alma mater, especially their Faculty of Faculty of Nursing.
Shitia Eka, head of Sports Faculty Activity Unit (UKF) and member of the team, felt happy to make many friends from other universities. “I am happy to have a lot of health student relations from other universities and the event I follow will be a lesson for me to prepare for the next event,” she said.
The preparations of FKp UNAIR Women’s Futsal team were made through regular training and sparring matches with other university teams. “We are proud of making good reputation of the alma mater. The FKp futsal team and I hope to be better, do not quickly feel satisfied with the results we get now because there are still many achievements we have to achieve to reach 500 WCU. We have to keep on trying, practicing, and praying to be better,” she explained. (*)
