UNAIR NEWS – Although it was just inaugurated last December, Sidoarjo Universitas Airlangga Alumni Association (IKA UA) is ready to make a breakthrough in a form of social service activity.
The social service event is held on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 in order to celebrate Sidoarjo Regency 160th Anniversary. It will be held in two places.
“The first social service will start at 6 in the car free day venue by distributing 1000 tree seedlings as an effort to make Sidoarjo greener,” explained the Head of IKA UA Sidoarjo, drg. Winaryo Sp.Perio.
The second event, continued Cak Win, is in form of free general dental treatments for the community. It will be held on Natura Residence behind Jenggolo Sports Gymnasium.
“There is also general health counselling from dr. Indri Kartikasari and dental health counselling by drg. Dwi Wahyu I Sp.Perio, beside the free treatments,” said Winaryo.
Furthermore, in the social service, there will be four ambulances and supports from IDI, PDGI, IAI and Pusdik Porong Hospital and Zero Garbage. Interestingly, this activity will provide kids corner with local mobile library.
“We are ready with 30 doctors and 1 dentist and 1 emergency car for checking up people’s teeth free of charge,” said Cak Win.
