UNAIR NEWS – Amadea Zulfiah Azmi alumnus of Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga has dozens of achievements which made her an outstanding graduate. Among other things, she succeeded in raising UNAIR Midwifery study program’s name at prestigious midwifery competition on Scientific Debate in National Camp Midwifery Student Competition (NCMSC).
Moreover, Amadea successfully became a national winner for three years in a row since 2015 – 2017. She won in first place on 2015, third place on 2016, and won again in first place on 2016.
“To be honest, back then I dont have any intention for studying in midwifery program. As a child who trying to get parents blessing, I tried and there was a struggle. As I go long, I felt that all the things that I’ve learned in midwery, inshaAllah iit will be useful for me personally and for those who lives around me, “said the girl who was born in Surabaya.
Amadea stated that she never set a specific target to become an outstanding student. The things that she always do was praying to God.
“In short, doing the best that she can to pursue her goal, while getting appreciation is one of the impact from it,” she added.
There was an obstacle during Amedea’s college life, in her second year of college, Amedea faced financial problem. To overcome her problem without burdening her parents, she took PPA scholarship and got accepted on it.
“Besides non-academic activities on campus, in the end of my second semester , I decided to take the opportunity to become a tutor in Learning Guidance Institute (LBB) for elementary and junior high school students until seventh semester. Thank God for, it cover all of my daily needs, “she explained.
Now, she is currently focusing on undergoing midwife professional education studies and pursuing her hijab business, Eluria.id. (*)
