UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Surabaya gave an award to Suara Surabaya Radio as Most Informative Media Partner on Saturday, November 10, 2018. It was presented to Rommy Febriansyah, Director of Finance of Suara Surabaya Media at Management Office Building UNAIR.
Rector of Universitas Airlangga said that every year UNAIR always give awards to various partners which have given positive contributions.
“The awards are given to partners from the governments, industrial sector, education institutions and even media. For media partner, we presented an award to Suara Surabaya Radio as Most Informative Media Partner,” he said.
With this appreciation, we hope in the future, there will be even better collaboration between UNAIR and Radio Suara Surabaya in providing latest positive news and information needed by the community.
The Head of Center for Information and Public Relations (PIH) UNAIR, Dr. Suko Widodo, also said that this award is the form of university’s gratitude for all supports given by Radio Suara Surabaya through its news coverage about Universitas Airlangga.
Furthermore, the award is also a form of statement for any efforts made by Radio Suara Surabaya which presents news and information about UNAIR in radio broadcast, website and social media accounts.
“Radio Suara Surabaya has been consistent in disseminating information about the education in UNAIR and also consistent in publishing the scientific works of Universitas Airlangga academic community,” stated Suko Widodo.
In addition to the award given to Suara Surabaya Radio, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, and Asia University Taiwan also received awards from UNAIR as international partners. Suko said that these institutions have supported UNAIR for its advancement and global recognition.
The awards were given as a celebration of 64th Anniversary of Universitas Airlangga which coincides with Heroes Day, November 10. (*)
