RADIO UNAIR – Beatbox might sound unfamiliar to common people. This musical art form became popular in Indonesia in 2007. Now, it is developing significantly in Indonesia and it can be seen from many beatbox communities in Indonesia.
One of the communities is Surabaya Beatbox Community. It was formed on September 7, 2010. It has a lot of members and often performs in many occasions. Two of the founders are from Universitas Airlangga, Rian from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK) and Adi from Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB).
Surabaya Beatbox Community was invited by Radio UNAIR in their program Our Community (KOMIT) on December 18, 2015. This is the video interview.
