Dalam pameran pendidikan Universitas Airlangga yang terbuka untuk seluruh siswa SMA sederajat itu, Rektor UNAIR Prof Moh Nasih menyatakan empat siswa yang datang diterima kuliah di UNAIR.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Iwan menjelaskan bahwa foto jurnalistik adalah kegiatan yang dihasilkan wartawan selain tulisan. Sebab, foto jurnalistik dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat secara meluas.
Dihadapan jajaran pimpinan dan ribuan peserta yang hadir, Prof. Nasih pada sambutannya menjelaskan bahwa UNAIR menerika mahasiswa dari tiga jalur. Yaitu Seleksi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), Seleksi Bersama Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) dan Jalur Mandiri.
