UNAIR NEWS – Rector of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Prof Dr Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak CMA congratulated the graduates conferred in March 2022 Graduation on Saturday, March 6 2022. Prof Nasih encouraged the graduates to keep learning even though they have completed their studies at Universitas Airlangga.
“UNAIR graduates must be lifelong learners, everywhere, every time, and in every way. Instill it in self to always take a lesson in every form of life journey,” he revealed.
Prof Nasih continued that graduation is a process towards happiness and success in life. Graduate success to this day is achieved from a great struggle and supports from families, siblings and parents.
“Graduation is only an achievement in a certain step of the stair, then you will continue to the next stairs or even continue your horizontal journey,” he explained.
High morale is needed to go through the high steps in one’s life journey. If the morale declines, success and higher achievements will not be achieved. Prof Nasih stated that UNAIR currently applies sustainable education for all so that every student is always expected to learn, learn and learn.
“We expect graduates to have optimism to proceed to the next levels. There are still many steps and adjustments that need to go through with various conditions we meet. The main provision of becoming a successful person is to keep learning, learning, and learning,” he mentioned.
Prof Nasih said that graduates would no longer carry out structured learning with curriculums such as in classes for the challenge ahead. The biggest challenge to graduates is independent learning without instructors or teachers.
“Maintain friendship, collaboration, and mutual assistance between alumni and UNAIR academicians by making achievements and contribution at best,” he said.
