UNAIR NEWS – 2019 is the second year of Accounting Business Plan Competition (ABC) organized by Off Main Campus Program (PSDKU) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in Banyuwangi. Last year’s ABC which was open only to high school / vocational students in Banyuwangi, now open to equal high school / vocational students in East Java to Bali.
To UNAIR NEWS after the event, May 4, Batita Yuca Salsabila as Head of Entrepreneurship Department and Head of ABC 2019 explained that there were many reforms she had done with the committee compared to the implementation of ABC in 2018.
“The biggest difference is the participants that are from East Java-Bali and workshops incorporated with ABC. This year, we invited presenters as well as practitioners from reliable baristas from the famous café , SogokOntong and batik crafter from Batik Sekar Bakung outlet , ” she explained.
Furthermore, the sixth semester student in Accounting S1 program explained, the theme of ABC this year is the Creative Entrepreneur for Better Future. It is expected to be a forum for millennial generations in business world. The 10 teams that passed the business proposal and best video selection were invited to hold presentations and workshops in Minak Jinggo Hall, Banyuwangi Regency on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
The product of Healthy Instant Suweg Noodles (Se-Setan) from the State Vocational High School ‘Ulumudin Singojuruh managed to bring home ABC 2019 champion trophy. Meanwhile, the second winner was CHOCOLA products a hybrid face mask innovation made of cocoa and soybeans from Jember University students and the third place won by Cascara Kupi Tea, which is a tea from excelsa coffee waste from PSDKU Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi students.
“We, as the Department of Entrepreneurship from HMA PSDKU, hope that from ABC as an annual competition, it will be able to produce creative and innovative young entrepreneurs,” she concluded closing.
