Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) inaugurated 126 new vets on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) UNAIR. The 162nd inauguration ceremony and oath taking was also attended by Vice Rector III, Prof., Ir. Moch Amin Alamsjah M.Si., Ph.D.

Understanding World Water Day Commemoration

Commemoration of World Water Day is on March 22. It is commemorated so that all citizens of the world realize the importance of clean water in their lives. The initiation of the commemoration was announced for the first time at 47th UN General Assembly on  December 22,  1992  in  Rio de Janeiro,  Brazil.

Renny Oktafia successfully completed her doctoral study with a dissertation entitled 'Linkage of Economic Activities Based on Islamic Sharia with Local Culture and Its Impact on Community Welfare in East Java'. The graduate, familiarly called Renny, conducted research in three cities: Kediri, Jember, and Malang.

Dekan FKH UNAIR Prof Pudji mengatakan, prospek kedokteran hewan saat ini cerah. Dibutuhkan 40 ribu dokter hewan. Sementara saat ini baru 10 ribu dokter hewan yang telah terdaftar di Indonesia. Sementara FKH UNAIR baru meluluskan 4 ribu'an orang sejak tahun 1975.
