UNAIR NEWS – Computer-Based National Exam (UNBK) and Computer-Based National Standardized School Exam (USBNBK) is only days away. Preparing one of the annual education processes, East Java Education Office held a prayer gathering for UNBK – USBNBK High School – Vocational High School of East Java Preparation.

Located at Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) Campus C UNAIR on Friday March 1, the event was attended by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih, Kapolrestabes Surabaya, and leaders in East Java Provincial Government.

On that occasion, UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih gave several messages and motivations to hundreds of students from East Java High Schools in ACC Campus C building, UNAIR. Prof. Nasih appealed to all students to ask for blessing from their teacher and religious scholars. According to him, they (teachers, religious scholars, ed) have a lot of positive energy that can be transmitted to students.

“This positive energy, he continued, is expected to inspire all of students. It will certainly give a good impact when all of you (students, ed) take the exam.” he explained. “I am waiting and hopefully on July, all of you (students, ed) will be UNAIR students,” he added.

Adding Prof. Nasih’s statement, Surabaya police precient, police chief commissioner Rudi Setiawan also advised that all students should take advantage of this momentum. In addition, he also said that all students to continue in obeying the existing regulations.

After presentation from UNAIR Rector and Surabaya police precient, hundreds of students also received a direct motivation from East Java Governor, Khofifah Indar Parawansa. In her presentation, the first female governor advised that all attendees have good prejudice to God.

“Because this is a main thing that can give us positive energy.” she explained. “In a battle like this, we all must fight together. If the governor fasts, parents will fasts, all of you should also fasts, “she added.

Khofifah also said that if students made mistakes to their parents, they need to apologize.

“Because parent’s blessing is a key to be successfull. Success in exam and choosing your dream university,” she explained.

On that occasion, Khofifah also picked students who memorize Quran to the stage. One girl and boy was asked to memorize a number of verses in Quran.

This recitation of Quran, explained Khofifah, becomes a provision and gives us peace of mind in carrying out many activities. Moreover, it is good for student in carrying out the exam in the future.

“Before I closed this event, I would like to give a message and greet all student’s parent at home,” she concluded.
