UNAIR NEWS – In order to create synergy to implement mission and work program between all components in Universitas Airlangga environment, UNAIR leaders held a work meeting with program coordinators, head and secretaries of departments. The work meeting is held at Hotel Singhasana Resort, Batu, on January 29-31, 2019.
The work meeting was held after UNAIR held leaderships meeting such as with deans, vice deans, directors, heads of centers and institutes within Universitas Airlangga in Bali.
In the work meeting, each program coordinator explained their performance achievements during 2018 through poster presentations.
On that occasion, UNAIR Rector Prof. Moh Nasih explained the overall achievements of UNAIR throughout 2018. One of them was accreditation of programs and institutional accreditation.
“A Accreditation of programs in UNAIR currently reaches 80%,” said UNAIR Rector.
The Rector continued, in 2018, there is one program accredited ABEST21, five programs accredited ASIIN, and 17 programs received AUN certification. In addition, the achievements of students and lecturers were also conveyed, both national and international levels.
On that occasion, to all the program leaders, Prof. Nasih mentioned UNAIR’s dream in 2020. Among them are to achieve Top 500 world’s best universities based on QS rankings, 100 best Asian universities based on QS version, the best in Indonesia based on DIKTI version, and Top 500 best Webometrics ranking.
In the event, there was also motivation session to encourage each of program to develop their programs in 2019. In addition, at the end of the evening program, there was an awarding session for the best performing programs. Rector and Vice Rectors gave awards directly to programs which had performed well and improved.
Meanwhile, the second session on Wednesday, Jan 30 will be attended by the heads and secretaries of all departments in UNAIR. Not much different, the development and performance of each department will be presented in UNAIR environment. (*)
