UNAIR RADIO – Alumni association of Faculty of Economics and Business (IKAFE) Universitas Airlangga 2011 held ‘Sahur on the Road‘ for the first time in Ramadhan 2016. The event held on Sunday, June 17 2016, the participants distributed free meals for sahur in some locations in Surabaya.
The idea of ‘Sahur on the Road‘ was from their concern to help others who are unlucky in this holy and full of blessings month and also as a way for silaturrahmi among the alumni. It was coordinated by Ahmad Bondan Sugiantara and Nurrizky Alridho.
The donation was collected and managed by the alumni in IKAFE UNAIR 2011 itself. The base of the operation was IKAFE room on the fourth floor of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).
Before starting the event, they gathered in Airlangga Corner for coordination. After that, the participants started to distribute the meals along the route they agreed before. It was started from Jorjoran, to Campus A UNAIR, area near PDAM Surabaya and Biliton and continued to Campus C UNAIR.
“We hope ‘Sahur on the Road‘ IKAFE UNAIR 2011 can strengthen ties among the alumni and be held annually in the future with more area covered,” hoped Ahmad Bondan Sugiantara as the event coordinator. (*)
