UNAIR NEWS – In organization, every activity must have a documentation and decoration (PDD). It is very important in supporting organizational events. Starting for promotion or during the event as a documentation of activities.

Besides taking photos, they are responsible for making posters and video teaser after movie. It is necessary to change the stigma of PDD staff which often called as photographers.

Therefore, Department of Media and Information (Medinfo) Student Executive Board Faculty of Science and Technology (BEM FST) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held a workshop and design and video training “Science Art”. Held on Thursday, April 25 at Student Center (SC) PERTAMINA FST UNAIR, the activity was led by Head Department of Medinfo BEM FST Reinaldy Subiakto.

The ongoing work program will be held every two weeks. The aim of the activity was to create competent student resources (HR) in the field of arts. Especially, in design and videography skills.

“Including developing qualified human resources in this field (design and videography, ed). Hopefully, student will learn and develop their skills according to the design standards.” said Reinaldy.

According to Reinaldy, the activity has many benefits for participants and organizers. In addition to sharpening skills, they dont have to find new staff for documentation because they already have it.

Not only workshops, but also in-depth training. The target was not only for Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) association but also for FST students. Especially, those who interested in the field of design and videography.

Moreover, it is expected that many FST students are interested in studying design and videography. Thus, FST students can make products in the field of design and videography.
