Quality improvement of service, education and research continues to be enforced by Universitas Airlangga through advancement of UNAIR Teaching Hospital (RSUA). One of these efforts was realized in a national and international standard accreditation program which would be followed by RSUA.

International accreditation ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities) held for five days at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) was officially closed on Friday, March 29.
Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) committed in improving the quality of learning process, academic mobility, research and community empowerment. For this reason, UNAIR continues to encourage itself to improve its international accreditation.
In order to fulfill one of the requirements to obtain ASIC accreditation with international standards, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Airlangga held a simulation of how to cope with disasters. The activity was held on Wednesday February 27 in Adi Sukadana Room and FISIP UNAIR Park.

As one of the best universities in the world, Universitas Airlangga continues to improve education quality. One of them is measured by accreditation of universities and existing study programs. Not only improving national accreditation but also international accreditation.
In early January 2019, the media reported that there were many hospitals that stopped serving Healthcare BPJS participants or stopped collaborating with Healthcare BPJS. It happened because of the new regulation by Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) that hospitals collaborating with Healthcare BPJS must be accredited first.
Accreditation is one way to measure the quality of an institution. For this reason, as one of the best universities in Indonesia, Universitas Airlangga continues to improve their quality.

Four Universitas Airlangga study programs are accredited by ASEAN University Networking-Quality Assessment (AUN-QA). The four study programs are Midwifery Education, Accounting, Nursing Education, and Dentistry.
