UNAIR NEWS – 1,374 students have passed the 2021 Universitas Airlangga State University Entrance Selection (SNMPTN) . What is interesting is that four students admitted in UNAIR are under the age of 16.

UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., in a press conference said that the four youngest students in 2021 UNAIR SNMPTN were Ainiyah Hasna Fadhilah, Hasna Azizah, Risqi Nabila Ramadhani, and Anditya Azzahra. Their average age was 15 years.

“There are four youngest students who passed 2021 UNAIR SNMPTN. They were born in 2005, “he said.

The youngest first student, said Prof. Nasih, was Ainiyah Hasna Fadhilah. She is 15 years and 4 months old. She comes from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Madiun City, East Java.

“Admitted (Ainiyah Hasna Fadhilah, ed) through SNMPTN in the Public Health program, Faculty of Public Health,” he said.

Second, Hasna Azizah. She is 15 years and 6 months old. She comes from the International Islamic High School, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, and admitted in Law Program, Faculty of Law.

Third, Risqi Nabila Ramadhani. She is 15 years and 8 months old. She comes from Public Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Ponorogo, East Java. She is admitted in Medicine program, Faculty of Medicine.

And fourth, Anditya Azzahra. She is 15 years and 9 nine months old. She comes from SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo, East Java. Anditya passed the selection in the Pharmacy Science program, Faculty of Pharmacy.

Despite being one of the best universities in Indonesia, UNAIR is very open to students from any regions. As long as students meet the specified criteria, all are entitled to become UNAIR students.

Prof. Nasih emphasized that all students accepted by UNAIR were purely from their achievements. So, if there are certain people who claim to get ‘help’ in the admission process, said Prof. Nasih, it is not true.

“Inform us via helpdesk if there are certain requests outside the official procedures. They (students who pass 2021SNMPTN, ed) are purely from the students’ achievements, “he said. (*)
