FEB UNAIR’s Management has made an international achievement in Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) by Subject 2021
UNAIR NEWS – Internationalization steps and efforts the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) have achieved good results. This time, the Management Department of FEB UNAIR made an achievement in Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings by Subject 2021(QS WUR by Subject). The Management Department of FEB UNAIR managed to achieve Indonesia’s Top 3 in QS World 2021 for Business & Management Studies with a global rank at #401-450.
Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto, SE., M.Si, as the Head of the Management Department of FEB UNAIR, said that this achievement was a part the internationalization efforts made by the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE, M.Sc., Ak. CMA., CA. According to him, the rank of FEB UNAIR Management has improved by 50 points compared to 2020.
“In 2020, UNAIR FEB Management was ranked #451-500 in the world. Currently, based on the latest release from QS WUR, it shows that we (Management of FEB UNAIR, ed) are in #401-450 position in the world, ” he explained.
Until now, FEB UNAIR Management Department has become one of the favorite departments for prospective students, for the Bachelor of Management program, the Master of Management (MM) program, Master of Management Science (MSM), and Doctor of Management Science (DIM) FEB UNAIR. All FEB UNAIR Management programs have gained national A BAN-PT accreditation and Japanese ABEST21 international accreditation.
“Furthermore, Management Bachelor’s program has been certified by AUN (Asean University Network), and has become UNAIR best bachelor program for humanities category in 2018,” he said.
At the end, Dr. Gancar said that the achievements of Management Department cannot be separated from the activities carried out by all parties. Primarily, the Management Department team in the past with Dr. Praptini Yulianti SE., M.Si. as the Head of the Management Department and Prof. Dr. Tanti Handriana SE., M.Si. as the Secretary of the Management Department.
“Internationalization activities are carried out actively by Management lecturers who increase their activities as researchers with international publications, reviewers of international journals, international seminar speakers and even become assessors of international accreditation,” he concluded (*)
