UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga continues to make various steps to be an important part in the development of the nation and state. This time, a cooperation agreement was established with Tancorp, one of the holding companies that oversee various national private companies.
The MoU between UNAIR and Tancorp was held online and offline on Thursday, January 28, 2021. The event was attended by UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih with all the leaders in UNAIR and the board of directors of Tancorp. The Tancorp representative, Alfeus, who is also an alumnus of UNAIR, said that cooperation between the industrial and academic worlds is mutually beneficial.
“The industrial world needs academic support to participate in developing various innovations. Vice versa, the academic world also needs the industrial world as a medium for developing knowledge and research, “explained the graduate of International Relations.
Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the Director of Tancorp, Stephanus Budi, said that the ongoing cooperation is expected to run well. Moreover, he continued, both parties have the same goal, to make a good contribution to the nation.
“We are collaborating with the world of education, considering that education is an important foundation in the nation’s building. Moreover, Tancorp and UNAIR have the same mission, to contribute to the welfare of society, “explained the 1986 UNAIR Faculty of Economics alumnus.
Furthermore, Prof. Nasih said that he was very grateful for the trust given by Tancorp. He continued, Tancorp is one of the holding companies that have many company units with various fields spread across Indonesia.
“In the future, with this cooperation, hopefully, many UNAIR students will be able to do internships and study at Tancorp. Also, with well-conducted cooperation, it is expected to make real contributions to the nation for the creation of a superior and great generation, “he concluded.
