UNAIR NEWS – Books entitled Inspire The Next: From Village to Turkey and Dream, Believe, Achieve are books authored and published by Lana Faiqoh Zahiroh. She is a student of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) .
Lana, revealed that the first book, entitled Inspire The Next: From Village to Turkey, contains true stories of hers realizing her dreams in Turkey. Furthermore, there are tips and tricks for passing international conferences to Turkey and also guides for traveling abroad starting from making passports, visas, and other things.
“The first book, I wrote it together with three alumni of Istanbul Youth Summit 2020 and was successfully published in September,” she said.
Then, in December 2020, Lana published another book she wrote herself for seven days entitled Dream, Believe, Achieve. The book is a motivational book that contains Lana’s journey in realizing her dreams going to three countries and getting free pilgrimage ticket.
“The second book is 211 pages long and contains motivational words relatable to the lives of youth in realizing dreams,” she added.
The pandemic condition demanding people to stay at home is one of the reasons for Lana to learn writing a book. In addition, Lana also saw that there were great opportunities ahead in the field of writing, so she decided to take advantage of her spare time to publish books.
“Through two books that I wrote, I want to share stories with other dreamers so they dare to dream higher because impossible is nothing,” she said.
Furthermore, Lana said that she was grateful after successfully publishing two books in 2020. She hopes that the books she writes can be useful and well-received by public.
In the future, there will be a third book published. She also has plans to write her fourth, fifth and sixth book. Finally, Lana encouraged other students to continue to hone their skills, to never be afraid to try and never be afraid to fail.
“Finish our failures while we are young. Take advantage of the opportunities in front of us properly, ” she concluded. (*)
