UNAIR NEWS – One of the students in Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) achieved national competion on September 28. Ayu Maharani Putri Setyorini won 1st place on 2020 National Student Competition in Business, Management and Finance organized by National Achievement Center (Ministry of Education and Culture).
With the theme of good health and well being, Ayu collaborated with Aisyah P. Rahvy, a student from Faculty of Public Health (FKM) UNAIR.
“Well, because I have a business management background, it would be right if I work together with FKM student. So we can solve problems in terms of health, and I handle it in the business management and finance, “said the business management student.
From this, Ayu created the idea of ”Seger Waras telehealth application” a business plan during Covid-19 pandemic. The application design is based on traditional herbal medicine, by cooperating with partners from traditional healers (battra), massage, acupuncture, other alternative medicine and herbal medicine clinics.
“With the target of people aged 15-29 years who live in big cities with unhealthy lifestyles and high levels of stress,” said her.
In designing the application, the preparation that is done is mentoring with the supervisor. Besides, I also learned about business plans, both in terms of business science, management and finance.

The online discussion process was one of the obstacles that she faced during preparation. The time adjustment with supervisor and the team is another obstacle because they have their lecture agenda.
“I will try to develop the application to be better ,” said the 2017 class student.
With this victory, Ayu hopes to motivate other UNAIR students to take part in competitions, both on a regional and national scale. (*)
