The student of Master in Sports Health Science, Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) took advantage of work from home moment to finish his novel script, which had been stopped due to busy lecture activities.
The process of writing the novel itself is not easy. It took one year for Stivian to finish his first novel. Moreover, in the last few months, he has been busy with various studies for his thesis. “This novel was first written on a trip from Malang to Surabaya. Until the last three months since the pandemic, I have managed to finish it. ” he said.
The novel that Stivian has completed is entitled 2 × 45 Minutes. A romance-fiction genre, the novel has several uniquenesses. First, the whole story in the novel is a combination of several true stories that are taken and made into a single story. Second, Stivian included several FK UNAIR buildings such as the AMEC building, the hall room, classes in the Department of Physiology, and LIB canteen in the setting of his novel story. In addition, Stivian also includes many aspects and terms of sports, especially football.
“Since childhood, he has been interested in sports. He had time to pursue football, futsal, volleyball, and swimming. Besides that, he likes to travel to another city. That’s why every time I go everywhere I always carry books in my bag, whether it’s novels or other reading books. ” said the student who is also a travel writer.
Before actively writing novels, Stivian’s own writing skills had been honed when he started working as a freelance journalist in several media online. In addition, he also often writes poetry and poetry on his personal Instagram page. All these activities are carried out between activities as a student, sports practitioner, and sports massage.
