Learning mandarin during the pandemic, banking management student association held training webinar

UNAIR NEWS – Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things in the order of human life. Everyday activities that are usually done outside the home are now mostly done at home. However, considering that the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing, seminar activities certainly cannot be carried out.

Through technology, seminars can be held online and more accessible for everyone to stay productive and add knowledge through webinars. Banking Management Student Association (HIMA MB) Universitas Airlangga held its inaugural webinar live via Zoom entitled “Language of Chinese.”

The event presented Laoshi (Teacher in Mandarin, ed) Virda Risari Putri as Mandarin lecturer at Faculty of Vocational Studies UNAIR as a resource. The event was attended by all students of Banking Management at Universitas Airlangga, five times every Wednesday and meetings from July 22 – August 19.

“Mandarin is important. At first, it can be challenging to understand. However, Laoshi Virda patiently teaches the basics of Mandarin. So far, I like the course, “said Wita, one of the participants of the Language of Chinese webinar.

Meanwhile, Reza Hamam Ridho, as Head of HIMA Management of Banking said that he pleased with the participant’s enthusiasm during the webinar.
