UNAIR NEWS – Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is continuing its collaboration with Universitas Airlangga. The collaboration is in the form of giving 1,000 food packages.
The distribution of food packages aid took place in the Hall of UNAIR Management Office, Thursday, May 14, 2020. It was attended by UNAIR Rector Prof. Moh Nasih with the ranks, and BNI Head of Region Surabaya, Muhammad Gunawan Putra with his staff. It was also carried out through a video conference attended by BNI Director of Institutional Relations Sis Apik Wijayanto from Jakarta.
“We are distributing 1,000 packages of food to several orphanages and people in need in the campus environment,” said Prof. Nasih.
“Our other cooperation is potential to be continued, it is certainly in accordance with our respective vision and mission. Hopefully our cooperation in the future will get better and expanded more, “he added.
This collaboration is a continuation of collaboration carried out. Previously, BNI provided assistance for the safety of medical personnel on the frontline in Universitas Airlangga Hospital (RSUA).
Previously BNI distributed personal protective equipment for UNAIR Hospital in the form of PPE suit and KN95 masks. The assistance provided is a form of mutual concern between BNI and educational institutions, specifically the Covid-19 referral hospital.
“Hopefully we can always maintain cooperation, both financially, socially and socially,” said Muhammad Gunawan Putra.
In addition to food packages, the other partnerships are in the form of managing employee cards, channeling credit facilities, and providing campus operational vehicles. (*)
